a few more

Liz & Randy

I was so excited to shoot this wedding since it was to take place on the very grounds that my parents were married on! Might I note that they are still happily married to this day. So, you too, might want to exchange vows at Rockwood Park. It was a beautiful day.

Mary & Andrew

Mary & Andrew's wedding was such a great time. They had it at the Independence Visitor Center and had many Philadelphia details, including Tastycakes and Soft Pretzels to take home! The ceremony was very moving and personal done in the Quaker tradition, EVERYONE was crying. Good tears. And check this out Andrew's parents met in Gummere Hall at Haverford which is exactly the same place Andrew met Mary!!!!I also had a lot of fun with their friends/bridal party who invited me out to drinks afterwards. Seriously I would have loved to but a wedding will seriously wipe you out. I always go directly home and massage my feet for about an hour. Is that TMI?

Kim and Shaun

Anywhere there are large blocks of yummy cheese you can pretty much count on me being happy. This event was no exception. Kim and Shaun are two very cool peeps and it was clear that everyone at their affair had a good time. There were some tears shed, there was lots of food grazing and eventually the cops were called because too much fun was being had. Good times.

Jessica and Chad

Sorry I am so behind on my blog posts! Jessica and Chad lucked out with some beautiful weather on their big day. They are cute as cup cakes (which they had many of) especially due to the fact that Chad is a good foot or two taller then his lovely bride. He also sung a beautiful song for Jessica during the reception. Sweet.

Swathi & Michael -Engagements!

So, Swathi and Michael came by the Gallery to shoot some engagement photos before their big day, and trust me when I say big day. Their ceremony started at 7:30am and involved over 3 outfit changes! You will see more from that day later. Anyway let me tell you, Sweet little Swathi blew me away with her modeling skills. She is a freakin NATURAL! She can throw looks, that as a photographer, you are looking to catch. Swathi, if you are listening I think you should drop the whole Medical career thing and go in to modeling. The photos turned out beautifully and had a great range from fun, to serious, romantic and mystical.

CC and David

What a beautiful event CC and David had at Cairnwood in Bryn Athyn. It was a very classy event and everyone had a great time. You can tell David and CC are the best of friends. They have done some seriously extensive traveling together and when I asked them where they were going on their honeymoon they simultaneously replied Rwanda! That is the first and probably last time I will ever here that response. I wish they would take me with them everywhere to document their lives...It gives new meaning to the term "lifestyle" photographer.

The lovely ladies Jen Golden and Sarah Gamble

These were taken this winter during a trip to Atlantic City with my Holga and I've just now gotten around to picking them up from the lab. Sarah Gamble has a show up now at Little Berlin Gallery. You should check it out. I love the sparkles that were a complete accident.

PS. The last one kills me because it looks like they are in some crazy fantasy world where he is pulling her out of a hole in the ground.

Jennifer and David pt.II

Jennifer and David tied the knot at Lighthouse Sound in MD. It is one of my favorite places to shoot and these two were a lot of fun! When Jennifer was cleaning Davids teeth with a toothpick for pictures- I knew that they would be together forever. This was also the first time I have seen the Soulja Boy preformed on the marital dance floor! Awesome.

MEXICO!

Ali and Brian got married on Isla Mujeres in Mexico. The island is only anout 5 miles long and one wide. It was the perfect place to gater all of your friends and family on one beautiful spot. I had the best fish taco of my life, it burned my mouth for a good two hours, cervesa helped. Ali had one of the most stunning faces I have ever seen. I kept thinking Italian opera singer. See for yourself...

Christine and Daniel had a beautiful wedding that took place at St.Augustine Church and The Downtown Club in Philadelphia. I met them through Courtney and Johnny two of my fav people who I need to hang out with soon so I can see their puppy before it's fully grown. We stopped off in front of the Old Stock Exchange building to shoot some fun pics.

Cherry Blossom Festival

It was a beautiful day to drum/sing/dance spring in today. We had a picnic at the festival for a friend Brendon's birthday. The performances were amazing and there were tons of cute kids there having a blast. Here are some pics!

Belly Photos!

Meghan was one of my beautiful brides so of course I was dying to shoot her when she told me she was pregnant! We shot these at the gallery and got a bunch of different looks. She is so lucky, she's one of those women who only get the belly. She told me they want five kids, so you may be seeing more of these!

Ok, so I want to start shooting more "boudoir"photography in Philadelphia

I just got back from a photo workshop in KY with some of my favorite wedding photographers on earth. They are all super cool ladies with a perfect mix of fabulous style, humor and professionalism. We had a "lights out" session which is the new term for boudoir photography that Angela Anderson coined. I would love to be shooting more of these so contact me about setting up a shoot. It's an awesome gift idea as well as super fun, dress up girly time! I thought it would be fun to get a couple friends together some great outfits and a bottle of bubbly....and of course a fabulous photographer who will bring out your gorgeousness!

Lindsay and Robert

Lindsay and Robert were married at The Dupont Country Club. They love each other so much they decided to tie the knot twice! It was a beautiful winter wedding and everything went without a hitch. Leave it to Lindsay's mom Linda, she's a pro at this by now!
