Ok, so I want to start shooting more "boudoir"photography in Philadelphia

I just got back from a photo workshop in KY with some of my favorite wedding photographers on earth. They are all super cool ladies with a perfect mix of fabulous style, humor and professionalism. We had a "lights out" session which is the new term for boudoir photography that Angela Anderson coined. I would love to be shooting more of these so contact me about setting up a shoot. It's an awesome gift idea as well as super fun, dress up girly time! I thought it would be fun to get a couple friends together some great outfits and a bottle of bubbly....and of course a fabulous photographer who will bring out your gorgeousness!

Erin and John

This is one good looking couple. They actually caused a collision involving a city bus! Possibly. Anyway we had a good time trotting around Philadelphia. They have a very tight group of friends and I can see why. They are a lot of fun to be around and are really sweet people. Their sweetness was reflected in the spread of desserts that came out later that evening. I swear to you I have never seen so many different options in one place. It was huge! Anyway, I know some of the ladies are anxious to see some of these on the blog so, here you go.

The party doesn't stop for Melissa and Raj!

These two know how to throw a wedding! TWO weddings in two days. Then another 1/2 wedding a week later. I bet they still haven't recovered from all of that splendor. Oh and, this was a first for me, Raj's brother announced during the reception that the had booked them a charter flight to NYC to say at the Waldorf Astoria for that night. They had a wedding planner with two assistants, 2 videographers, a photographer from the inquirer who was covering their story and me. Did I mention the food?! Yums. With all of the festivities and craziness they are still one of my favorite couples of all time and I would do it all over again with them.
Thanksgiving in Big Sur California

I decided to go visit my brother in Big Sur for Thanksgiving. He works at a lodge called Fernwoods which is an amazing place. Everyone there was super cool and the surrounding nature was majestic to say the least. My friends from San Fran came down to meet me and we are thinking this might be our new tradition. Here are a few images taken within a few hundred yards. Why do I live in Philly?

Top of the Tower

Jessica and Josh were married at "Top of the Tower". What a venue! The views were killer, so much so that one groomsman who had a small fear of heights had a bit of a time adjusting to being so high up. The food was amazing and there was a general feeling of warmth and fuzzyness from all. I love the first one of Jessica looking at her dress in the mirror. If it had a title it might be something like "Reflecting on my Singlehood"!!!

Jenna and Chris

Jenna and Chris had a beautiful wedding. It all went so perfectly smooth. I only wish we had a liiiiitle more light to work with in those gardens. They had a huge wedding party and everyone had a blast! You can see their engagement shots a few posts ago. Oh, and Jenna's friend made her dress and it was stunning. Really.

Kate & Terry
Meghan & Michael
Kim & Christopher

Chris and I took a horse carrige ride with his two datugters Alyssa and Jenna. That is a great way to get to know people. I think it was a really good idea to get Alyssa and Jenna used to me and the camera. The girls kept giving me hugs during dinner!!! Kim was a beautiful bride. Her skintone and red hair was stunning in that white dress. I wanted about 2 more hours to do some glamour shots with her! She also has great taste in music and played almost all Johnny Cash during dinner. Yea.
Michelle & Michael at The Lighthouse Sound

Michelle and I had some time before the ceremony to shoot and we had a BLAST. She is so cute and really easy and fun to be around. We were already good friends and I hadn't even meet Michael yet! He was equally cool and we did some creative shots lying on the golf course green. Let me tell you, not every couple would feel free enough to do this, but I think it ended up being so fun it was the highlight of the day!
